Official First Day of Preschool

Today marks the official start of the end preschool. We attended Open House on Tuesday. This allowed us to meet the staff and a few other students and parents. Princess Ninja was able to explore her new surroundings. I must say, she did well. Granted we never left her sight and she was able to do as she pleased. I'm not quite sure how she'll do when Mama and Dada actually leave and she has to follow instructions. Regardless, today is the day.

Since I love pouring salt and squirting lemon juice into my motherhood wounds, I'd like to share a few photos of Princess Ninja.

Hanging out in her Bumbo

So tired!

Sniff, sniff! No that's not me crying. I just got something in my eye.

  1. OMG, that picture of her sleeping standing up is so precious. I hope she has a terrific day! and you too.

  2. You and my hubby both! His must have been an allergy on the first day of kindergarten.

She's going to learn so much! It will be great!

    The couch picture is priceless!

  3. The photos are adorable, especially the last one. What a sweetie pie! I have some pictures of my youngest asleep in her high chair.

Good luck with her first day, but watch out for the third! With my youngest entering kindergarten, I was fine on the first and second days, but lost my composure on the third. It's so hard to let go!

  4. I know how you feel. I cried when Little Chick started school. I got in my car and just cried. It is really hard to let go of our little ones. Very cute pictures! I want to say thank you for your sweet comment. My daughter is still sick and hopefully will start getting better soon. Have a good day!

  5. Awww, poor mama. I dread that day. I hope it all went well. I bet she loved it. Stay strong mama.

  6. Awww good luck to princess ninja, she'll do awesome. My First born just started kinder yesterday. Talking of sniffling, on the first day of school the PTA board held their traditional "coffee and Kleenex" for the kinder parents. It was a nice touch.

  7. I love the one of her sleeping standing up! So glad the camera was handy for that one!

  8. That is so cute. Hang on, it goes fast! I remember the first day of preschool.....just did my first day of college and high school. Where did the time go!
